Semi-Private Adventure: This Adventure is for solo cruisers, couples and small groups who can join together, sharing transportation and costs to provide a better value experience for those seeking a more budget friendly option. $98 USD per person
What time does my tour start ?
MOST IMPORTANT: Please get off the ship and meet us PROMPTLY. We need to get on the road to your Adventure as soon as possible in order to provide you with the Five Star experience you deserve. Our guests usually arrive at the pre-arranged meeting point within 15-30 minutes after the ship’s docking time.
Private Excursions:
If you arrive more than 45 minutes after your docking time, you may risk a change in Itinerary. After 60 minutes, you are considered a NO SHOW and you forfeit your deposit.
Semi-Private Excursions:
The Semi-Private Adventure LEAVES 45 minutes after the ship docks. After 45 minutes you are considered a NO SHOW and you forfeit your deposit.
How long is the tour ?
Shore Excursions: For Cruise ship passengers… The tours run approximately 5 hours in length. The shore excursions are tried and tested and there is plenty of time to do the tour without feeling rushed. You will be returned to Progreso with 60 – 90 minutes to spare before you re-board your ship.
Local Tours: For those persons who are vacationing in the Yucatan or who live here, your tour can last from 5-8 hours in length, depending on where you are travelling. We provide pick up/drop off service at your hotel, rental or vacation home if in the Progreso or Merida area.
What is the travel time?
Most of the sites we visit are approximately 60 minutes from the Port of Progreso in an area known as “The Ring of Cenotes”.
“Majestic & Maya” which visits Uxmal is approximately 90 minutes from the Port of Progreso.
Is there an age limit?
There are no age limits on Private Adventures! We can provide car seats and life-jackets for your toddlers and assistance for Grandma and Grandpa.

How do we find you?
(for our Cruise Ship Guests)
We will be waiting for you at the free shuttle Terminal on shore in Progreso, your Guide will have a sign with your name on it. You can also take a Taxi off the pier if you prefer .
Specific instructions will be included in your confirmation e-mail, no worries, it is easy! To make it easier the morning of the Adventure, we ask that everyone in your group arrive together and don’t be late !
What about the weather?
Our tours run, rain or shine. We cannot guaranty the weather, but we can make the best of your visit to the Yucatan.
Can we join another group?
YES: We do offer a Semi-Private Adventure for solo, couples and small groups to join together and share costs.
NO: All of our other Adventures are Private, however you can add more people to your Private group if you wish. We require 24 hours notice and additional deposit may be required.
Can I just show up and go on an Adventure?
No, All of our Adventures are by advance reservation only.
How do I pay?
Once we have Confirmed your reservation, you will receive a PayPal Invoice for the deposit required. Your reservation is NOT confirmed until this deposit has been paid, with the balance due, in cash, on the day of the tour. We ask that you collect from everyone ahead of time and provide us with exact cash for the balance on arrival.
Can I PAY the entire balance by PAYPAL ?
We only accept deposits by PayPal. The balance is always due in cash. We have had no problem in the past with guests bringing cash. You will be paying the cash balance as soon as we meet in the morning, at the beginning of the Adventure, and you will not have to carry it around throughout the day.
Cancellation Policy
- In the event that you are unable to attend your booked Adventure, please provide e-mail notice prior to your sailing date in order to receive your FULL refunded deposit, via PayPal.
- If there are ship or weather issues, and the ship does not arrive in Progreso, you will receive a FULL refund of your deposit, via PayPal.
- Cancellations (full party or member within your party) within 24 hours of your excursion results in NO refund of your deposit and will be applied to expenses incurred by us.
No-Shows
If your entire group is a “no-show”, the full deposit is non-refundable and will be applied towards expenses incurred by us.
If individual(s) within your group are a “no-show”, $20 of your original deposit for each absent person will be retained by us and applied towards expenses incurred. Your balance due will be reduced because of the “NO-shows, and your original deposit will be reduced by $20 per “No-show”. Depending on the number of people in your party and the number of no-shows , your price per person may also increase according to our pricing scale provided to you in your original quote.
Important Considerations
- Life jackets are mandatory and are supplied.
- Guests must be able to take steps or small ladders to get into and out of the Cenotes.
- Guests must consider their physical fitness level and medical history when determining whether a certain tour is appropriate.
- Guests with cardiac conditions, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, or other heart or respiratory conditions or any other medical conditions must take particular caution when selecting an Adventure.
- Our Adventures are off-the-beaten-path. Most areas are natural and not developed.
- Your signature on a Waiver/Disclaimer will be required on the morning of your Adventure.
