Your day will include exploring the archaeological site of Mayapan, which is a medium sized site with pyramids, many structures and an ancient observatory, all of which you are permitted to explore/climb. The grounds are well maintained and it is easy to stroll and explore for families of all ages. You will also go “off – the – beaten – path” to swim in a remote Cavern Cenote where you can jump from a cliff or have stair access to a water-level platform.Visit a small village where a local Maya family will have prepared a traditional meal, with fresh, local, in-season ingredients.
Cruise Guests: At the end of your Adventure you will be returned to the port of Progreso VIP Pier to board you ship.
